🧱 SECTION 1: Understand the AI Chat Flow

  • AI Chat is built inside the Automations tab of your OS dashboard.
  • It responds to inbound website messages, chat widget opt-ins, or DM replies.
  • It can collect data, ask questions, and qualify leads based on pre-set conditions.
  • It works with your Forms, Tags, Smart Lists, and Calendars.

⚙️ SECTION 2: Access the AI Chat Automation

  • Go to Automations > 2 | Launch Pack ⚡️.
  • Select Step 11 | AI Chat Inbound Automation 💬.
  • This workflow template is pre-built with inbound logic and AI instructions.
  • Click Create Workflow from Template to begin editing.

✍️ SECTION 3: Customize AI Chat Prompts

  • Within the workflow, scroll to the AI Chat step.
  • Edit the System Prompt to define:
    • Who the AI is (tone, personality, voice)
    • What it should ask (name, email, goal, etc.)
    • What the goal is (lead qualification, booking, upsell)
  • Example prompt:
    • "You are Alex, an AI assistant for Launch Lab. Your job is to qualify leads and get them to book a call. Ask for their name, email, and what they need help with. If they qualify, send them to the booking page."

💬 SECTION 4: Program Responses & Routing

  • Add conditional branches based on AI inputs:
    • “If interested = yes” → Send booking link
    • “If interested = no” → Tag as cold lead
    • “If question = refund” → Trigger support automation
  • Use buttons or short replies to guide the conversation flow.
  • Trigger other automations (email, tag, calendar redirect) based on chat outcome.

📥 SECTION 5: Connect to Inbound Channels

  • Ensure your Chat Widget is live on your website.
  • You can also connect this automation to:
    • Instagram DMs
    • Facebook Messenger
    • WhatsApp inbound
  • For each channel, test if the AI triggers properly based on a lead’s reply.

🧪 SECTION 6: Test the Entire Chat Flow

  • Visit your site or DM your business on social.
  • Trigger the AI chat flow.
  • Confirm:
    • It responds immediately
    • It asks the right questions
    • It captures data and routes the lead
  • Watch for logic breaks, unqualified paths, or message timing delays.
